Our Wheelchair insurance policy is designed for owners of manual wheelchairs valued up to £1,000. A wide range of and provides insurance protection in the event of accidental damage (including fire, theft and vandalism), public liability and worldwide cover. For equipment purchased new you will have the option of insuring for 12, 24 or 36 months. Prior to expiry, all policies will be offered renewal for a period of 12 months.

Summary of Standard Wheelchair Key Insurance Benefits

Accidental Damage - full cover against loss or accidental damage whatever the cause. Our insurance company will cover the cost of repairing your product if it is lost or damaged by any accidental cause including fire, storm, theft and vandalism.
Public Liability up to £2 million. In an ever increasingly litigious society it is vital that you have this sort of cover to protect against third party claims which may arise as in connection with the ownership, possession or use of your mobility product up to £2,000,000.
Worldwide Cover - if you need to take your mobility product on holiday with you we will cover it (subject to prior notification) at no additional cost for up to 30 days in any one year (excluding USA and Canada)

Please note our wheelchair insurance does not cover for wheelchair hire equipment.

Notification of claims
