Coronavirus Update: Monday 23rd March

Coronavirus Update: We know from talking to our customers that many of you are worried about your health and your families health at this time.   Please stay safe and well and take all the relevant healthcare advice from NHS 111, where appropriate.

In light of this and in order to protect our staff and customers’ health we have taken the difficult decision that we will be shutting our Northampton and Plymouth store on a temporary basis as of today/5pm Monday 23rd March.  This is not something we want to do but we feel this is the responsible thing to do in the current crisis.   We hope to be back open soon once this is all over.

In the meantime we can continue to serve our customers via purchasing online at our website www.morethanmobility.com or you can call us on 0800 046 3949 and we can post any orders of mobility or incontinence supplies direct to your or a family member’s home. We intend to deliver the same level of service our customers are accustomed to but we will of course update you if the situation changes.

We know this is a difficult and worrying time especially for the elderly and vulnerable; many who are our customers; but we are here to help in anyway we can.   As always, if you have any questions, our Customer Service Team is here to help. Finally if you are worried about supplies of any of your regular mobility products or toileting/incontinence products then do give us a call as we can organise for any relevant supplies to be sent direct to your or a member of your families home.

A Note On Coronavirus

Dear Customers…We’re thinking of you

We’re sure that you’ve been receiving a number of updates like this from different places over the past few days, so we will try our best to keep this as brief as possible.

We’re aware of the rapidly changing situation regarding Covid-19 and want to bring you some reassurance during this time.

It goes without saying that the health, safety and well-being of our customers and employees and their families is paramount and that we will continue to act in ways designed to support you through this and to mitigate the risks associated with Covid-19.

Our mobility business is currently operating as usual and both our mobility stores in Plymouth and Northampton are open, taking all the government health precautions.   We intend to deliver the same level of service our customers are accustomed to, and we will be sure to inform you should any changes become necessary.  At this moment our stock levels are in good order and we are taking and dispatching orders as usual.  This situation may change, but so far so good. We will do all we can to limit any potential delays as much as possible.

Also as I sure you are aware Royal Mail and courier service are taking extra precautions with deliveries.  For all customers where they need to deliver any parcel that won’t fit through your letterbox, they will place your item at your door.  Having knocked on your door, they will then step aside to a safe distance while you retrieve your item. This will ensure your item is delivered securely rather than being left outside.   Also they will not be handing over any hand-held devices to customers to capture signatures.
