National Arthritis Week

Last week was National Arthritis Week and to celebrate we would like you to share your arthritis stories. Arthritis Research says “We understand that the pain of arthritis is invisible, and that trying to explain the impact that it has on your day can be hard. We recently surveyed women with arthritis; 28% of women feel people don’t understand what it’s like to live with joint pain and, despite talking about it, they feel lonely.”

Arthritis is the biggest cause of pain and disability in the UK. 10 million people are living in pain every day. This pain is often invisible, and its effects can go unnoticed. That’s why this year they’re highlighting the impact of pain.

If you live with arthritis, or know someone who does, help them shape the research we invest in by completing the National Arthritis Survey online at www.nationalarthritisweek.org. For more details see www.arthritisresearchuk.org.
