Coronavirus Update: WE ARE OPEN!

As we provide essential equipment to enable people to be discharged from hospital, provide equipment and supply daily living aids such as continence products we have taken the decision to remain open in order to support our healthcare services.

Our Plymouth store is OPEN and will remain open during Lockdown 2.0 and we are welcoming customers into our store in a COVID secure environment and following the latest government guidelines.  Our opening hours during this lockdown will slightly be reduced to 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday .  Alternatively you can call us on 0800 046 3949 or 01752 673367 and we can organise for any items to be sent direct to your home.

Our absolute priority is to protect our staff and customers and we want to assure you that we are taking all the necessary precautions by ensuring:

  • 2 Meter Social Distancing in store and when visiting customer’s homes
  • Regular Store Cleaning
  • Staff are washing hands regularly
  • Face Masks are being worn by all staff and all customers are required to wear them in store (unless they have a valid exemption)
  • Protective Personal Equipment & Hand Sanitiser are available for sale and use in store
  • Home Deliveries & Home Visits Available
  • NEW Online Virtual Showroom Service available

Our full Covid-19 Customer Guidelines for how we will work both in store and in customer’s homes are available below:

In Store

  • Face Masks are being worn by all staff and all customers are required to wear them in store (unless they have a valid exemption)
  • We have added floor tape/signage to help customers safely navigate and keep a two metre distance
  • Set a limit to the number of customers that can be in the store at a time – one customer at a time.  Please queue patiently outside if we are busy.
  • We are encouraging customers to shop alone or within their own household where possible, unless they need specific assistance
  • Frequent cleaning of objects and surfaces that are touched regularly or items that have been brought in for repair.   We will clean touch points after each customer use or handover, particularly in cases where equipment has been rented and products such as mobility scooters have been test-driven
  • Increased hand washing frequency and surface cleaning – please use the hand sanitiser at entrance/exit point
  • Minimising contacts around transactions and encouraging contactless payments
  • All returned items will be cleaned and stored for 72 hours before putting them back out on the shop floor

Home Assessments, Repairs & Deliveries

  • We are available for in home assessments, repairs and home deliveries and will ensure social distancing and all relevant personal protective equipment is worn as well as following a strict cleaning and sanitisation regime.
  • We will communicate with your household prior to any visit to discuss how the work will be carried out to minimise risk for all parties
  • If your household is isolating because one or more family members have symptoms we cannot unfortunately visit your home until after the 14 day period.   For deliveries in this instance we can provide a drop off service outside your home for any essential products.


We also offer as well as our usual Home Demonstration Service a NEW Virtual Showroom Tour if you are concerned about visiting us.   This will allow you to book a private online tour of our store from your own home where you can get advice and view our range of products.   Please contact us to book at time of your convenience.

We can continue to serve our customers via purchasing online at our website or you can call us on 0800 046 3949 or 01752 673367 and we can post any orders of mobility or incontinence supplies direct to your or a family member’s home.
